The COBRA 6, 33.6V ESC W/1717-1650KV SENSORED COMBO is ready to take on any R/C vehicle weighing up to 20lbs and running up to 8S LiPo. Designed for heavy, high-performance rigs, you'll experience controllable low-end ranges, without sacrificing power, punch, or speed.

Based around our popular Monster X 8s ESC, this is a direct upgrade and replacement for the next generation of bashing. Taking the core features from its predecessor, the Cobra packs in new features thanks to its powerful 32-bit processor.

Product Use Statements:	Recommended battery capacity for 1:6th scale vehicles is 5000mah. We recommend using 50C continuous discharge or higher LiPo batteries. Surge ratings should never be used to determine a pack’s suitability for a brushless application. We recommend a high current connector designed for high-powered electric systems, rated for 120+ amps, such as Castle CC Bullet 6.5mm, CC Bullet 8.0mm, or 6.5mm Polarized Castle Connectors. Applying voltages higher than 33.6V will cause irreparable damage to ESC; DO NOT RUN HV CELLS (above 4.2v/cell) WHEN RUNNING AT MAX CELL COUNT (8s). This will exceed the 33.6v rating and will damage the ESC and not be covered by the warranty. Although the Cobra 6 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. Always rinse the ESC with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof. Note: While many users have utilized the Cobra 6 in extremely high speed applications and drag setups, it is NOT intended for this application. As such the Castle warranty does NOT cover failure when used in high speed or drag applications.

Tech Notes:	Running modes: SMARTSENSE™, Sensored, Sensorless with Castle sensored capable ESCs. It is strongly recommended to not use the “Sensored Only” motor type option. The default “Smart Sense™” modes uses the sensors (if applicable motor is used) to start the motor smoothly. Once the motor is running the ESC stops using the sensors and reverts to sensorless operation. Sensorless mode is more efficient resulting in cooler temperatures and potentially higher motor performance. Do not use mounting screws that extend more than 5mm into the front of the motor. Using too long of a screw can result in damage to the motor's windings and will not be covered by the warranty. Water Resistant Design: The sensor board is coated with silicone conformal coating to protect the sensors from moisture. The sensor connections are not water resistant; water can cause signal loss which could result in loss of sensored capabilities. Castle recommended applying dielectric grease to the outside of the sensor wire connections after installation of the wire. Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions. Please refer to this document for running and maintaining motors in wet environments.
