RJ Gritter recently graduated from NC State University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, working at Aurora Flight Sciences. RJ started flying models at the age of 12, soloing on a 40-size glow-powered Flightstar. When he was 15, he watched the ETOC live on a webcast and knew that he wanted to compete in radio control aerobatics. Since then, he has competed in 7 ETOCs, 5 XFCs, numerous IMAC, pattern and F3P contests, the 2015 F3P World Championships, and the 2015 World Air Games. When not flying R/C, he enjoys designing his own models as well as flying "full-scale" aerobatics.
