Castle Talon Series delivers brushless power control designed specifically for RC aviation.
With six controllers spanning 15 to 120 amps, the Talon Series gives airplane and helicopter pilots a range of compact, programmable power solutions built around the demands of their aircraft. Integrated BECs simplify power-system installation, while Castle Link programming provides access to the settings needed to fine-tune performance for the way you fly.
Whether you're building small and light, setting up an aerobatic aircraft, configuring a helicopter governor, or powering a giant-scale airframe, there's a Talon ready for the job.

POWER MORE THAN THE MOTOR.
Your motor isn't the only part of an aircraft demanding power. Servos, receivers and onboard electronics need a dependable supply of their own.
Every Talon ESC incorporates a BEC, helping simplify installation by providing onboard power for your electronics. BEC capability scales across the Talon family—from lightweight systems designed for smaller aircraft to the 20A peak BECs found in the Talon 60, Talon 90 and Talon 120HV.
The Talon 60, 90 and 120HV also provide user-selectable 6V or 8V BEC output, giving pilots additional flexibility when configuring high-performance servos and electronics.

Castle Link gives Talon users access to application-specific settings that allow the ESC to be configured around the aircraft and the way it will be flown.
Depending on the selected vehicle type, available settings include:
- Throttle & Governor: Auto-Calibrating Throttle, Fixed-Endpoints, Simple Governor, Gov Low/High and Set RPM
- Brake: Brake Strength, Brake Ramp and Brake Delay
- Cutoffs: Cutoff Voltage, Voltage Cutoff Type and Auto-LiPo Volts/Cells
- Motor: Start Power, Timing, Direction and PWM Rate
- Other: Power-On Beep, Link Live Enable and BEC Voltage
Available settings vary by selected vehicle type. Castle Link programming requires compatible Castle Link hardware.

POWER SYSTEM ALERTS
KNOW WHAT YOUR TALON IS TELLING YOU.
Your Talon doesn't just control power—it communicates what's happening in the power system.
Talon ESCs use audible tones generated through the motor together with LED patterns to communicate startup information, operating status and conditions that may require attention.
The Talon alert system provides indications for:
Power-Up / Cell Count • Arming • Powered ESC • Low-Voltage Cutoff • Over-Temperature • Excessive Load • Start Fail • Radio Glitch • Motor Anomaly • Over-Current • BEC Over-Temperature • Locked Head Speed • Full Throttle
For example, the power-up sequence uses audible beeps and LED flashes to report detected cell count, while different tone and LED sequences identify specific operating conditions. Locked head speed is indicated by a flashing green LED, while a solid red LED indicates full throttle.
