Castle Creations motor and ESC combo recommendations for the Losi 8ight-X Lasernut (1/6th scale).

Cobra 8 w/1515-2200kv - Stock gearing (12/50) on 4s = ~40MPH
Monster X 8s w/1520-1650kv - 14T pinion / 50T spur on 6s = ~50MPH
Monster X 8s w/1717-1650kv - Stock gearing (12/50) on 8s = ~60MPH

Notes:
Requires optional 5mm bore, Mod 1 pinion; stock D-bore will not fit on Castle motors.
All speed estimates are with stock tire diameter, high quality batteries and appropriately sized battery connectors.
Always monitor ESC, motor and battery temperatures on new setups or when changing gearing or batteries.
