The Castle Talon 15 packs programmable brushless power into an exceptionally small, lightweight ESC designed for RC air applications where every gram matters.
Supporting 2S–4S LiPo power and up to 15 amps of continuous current, the Talon 15 is an ideal fit for foamies, micro helicopters and sub-micro helicopters. At just 7.2 grams with wires, it delivers Castle performance without weighing down your aircraft.

The Talon 15 incorporates a 5.5V BEC rated at 3 amps continuous and 8 amps peak, providing onboard power for your receiver and servos without requiring a separate BEC in appropriate applications.
Always verify servo current draw before first flight. Peak BEC output indicates amperage sustainable for 0.5 seconds.

Connect the Talon 15 to Castle Link to configure your ESC for your aircraft and flying setup.
Depending on selected vehicle type, Castle Link provides access to settings including throttle and governor modes, brake behavior, voltage cutoff, Auto-LiPo settings, motor start power, timing, direction, PWM rate, and Power-On Beep.

Audible motor tones and LED patterns provide useful information about ESC status and operating conditions, including power-up and cell count, arming, low-voltage cutoff, over-temperature, excessive load, start failure, radio signal issues, motor anomalies, over-current and BEC over-temperature.

Measuring just 27.9mm long × 14.7mm wide × 8.1mm deep, the Talon 15 fits where larger controllers simply won't. It weighs 7.2g with wires and only 3.4g without wires, making it particularly well suited to weight-sensitive air applications.
Battery and motor connectors are sold separately, allowing you to configure the ESC with the connectors appropriate for your installation.

*RC HOBBY APPLICATION RATING: 15 amps for the duration of a single1,500 mAh battery pack with the ESC in contact with a 5 mph airflow of25C (77F) or cooler air and minimal BEC load. Controller temperaturemust never exceed 100C (212F). Exceeding current or temperature ratingsmay damage components and may shorten the life of the ESC. Always verifysystem current draw at full-throttle. Decrease load or increase airflowto decrease the ESC’s operating temperature.
