SURFACE ESC: GHOST RC, COBRA 8 ACE

Castle is thrilled to partner with Ghost RC in releasing the Cobra 8 ACE. The Cobra 8 ACE is built on our Cobra 8 ESC but with enhanced drag racing features and beefed up to handle the extreme conditions of drag racing. It is engineered with cutting-edge technology tailored specifically for 1/10th Drag Racing vehicles.

Tech Note: An external capacitor pack (011-0148-00) must be used with the Ghost RC Cobra 8 ACE. Failure to use an external capacitor pack will affect ESC performance and can lead to damage.

  • Increased tune-ability on how much power the ESC gives the motor to get off the line and out of the prep
  • Start Power Ramp Time - Allows users to adjust how quickly the start power ramps in on launch
  • Start Power Hold Time - Sets how long it holds the start power before moving into boost timing or programmed throttle mode
• RPM Limiter
  • Allows users to set a maximum motor RPM, reducing rotor failures if driveline components fail.
