ESC Protection and Power Stability
Modern brushless RC power systems can generate significant electrical noise and voltage ripple, especially when using high-current batteries or extended battery leads. Castle Creations capacitor packs are designed to stabilize voltage and help protect your ESC from damaging voltage spikes.
These capacitor packs are commonly installed between the battery and ESC to reduce electrical ripple and improve power delivery in demanding RC setups. By smoothing voltage fluctuations, capacitor packs help maintain reliable ESC operation while extending the life of your electronic speed controller.
Castle capacitor packs are especially recommended for high-power brushless systems, long battery wire runs, and large-scale RC vehicles where current demands are extreme. Whether you're building a high-speed RC car, powerful boat, or large-scale vehicle, adding a capacitor pack is an important step in protecting your electronics and ensuring consistent performance.

011-0002-02 is rated up to 50.4v (12s) and has 880µF capacitance. Recommended for use in applications using more than 8s LiPo (33.6v).
011-0148-00 is rated up to 33.6v (8s) and has 2240µF capacitance. Recommended for use in applications using up to 8s LiPo (33.6v).
011-0165-00 is rated up to 33.6v (8s) and has 1680µF capacitance. Recommended for use in applications using up to 8s LiPo (33.6v).
