Castle Creations Warranty
All Castle Creations products have a two-tiered lifetime warranty.

Tier One
All Castle Creations products are covered with a full repair/replacement warranty dated by the original or copy of the original sales receipt. This warranty covers all failures that result from material or workmanship defects. It does not cover abuse, intentional or otherwise. Abuse includes but is not limited to the following: use of the system outside of its intended use, damage resulting from incorrect wiring, over voltage, overloading, improper gearing or propping (overloading), motor selection, incorrect settings, insufficient batteries or connectors and/or poor solder joints on connectors. In short anything that can be considered abuse is not covered by the Tier One warranty.

Tier Two
This is what sets Castle Creations systems apart from all others. After a year of ownership or any damage that is the result of abuse, we will repair/replace the damaged product for much less than the retail replacement.

Fine Print on the Castle Creations Lifetime Warranty
Castle Creations reserves the right to repair or replace defective products at its discretion. Repair and exchange replacements will be for the same or current production model products only. Repair turn-times vary depending on parts availability and technician workload, however, most repairs take only a few days in our repair shop. Our warranty liability shall be limited to repairing or replacing the unit to our original specifications. Because we have no control over the installation or use of these products, in no case shall our liability exceed the original cost of the product.

Warranty Claims (Tier One)
In order to effectively process warranty claims, we ask that you utilize our online repair center to ensure all necessary information is obtained and reduce potential delays in the processing of your claim.

It is important to include the following information:

  • Product(s) being returned
  • Purchase Receipt with date of purchase
  • Nature of failure and details of your set up (vehicle, prop, cells, motor, etc.)
  • Contact information including name, phone number, and/or e-mail address, and return address

Make certain to package your product for safe transport!

(We hate to get a little plastic bag from the Post Office with a standard envelope that's been shredded in the mail sorting machinery and an apology from the USPS.)

NOTE: Please do not send anything in for repair other than your controller (such as NiMH/NiCad packs, any Lithium Polymer batteries, servos, gyros, and etc.) unless specifically instructed to do so by our technical support staff.

Non-warranty Claims (Tier Two)
Repairs outside the warranty period or repairs that are necessary due to misuse, abuse, neglect, or incorrect wiring will be repaired at the current flat rate repair fee. Don't throw away your old speed control - all Castle Creations products have a core value! Please use the online repair center to process a non-warranty claim.

Note: a $5.00 shipping fee will be added for domestic non-warranty repairs, $7.00 for Canadian non-warranty repairs, and $15.00 for international non-warranty repairs.

Note: Using controller outside of its intended performance specification (running outside of MAX voltage/current, gearing, or wrong application/vehicle). Physical damage including crash, or water submersion. Modification of controller such as soldering on controller, gluing items on the controller, potting the controller, etc. There are no user-serviceable parts on these controllers, we do not recommend attempts to repair or solder on the board. Note: warranty is for original purchaser of the product only. Warranty is non-transferable.

  2. On the next page, confirm your items selected and click "check out now"
  3. On the next webpage - please make sure to click "Process Repair" or you will not be sent to the correct screen.
  4. Enter all required customer information and credit card number - even for warranty repair and click submit.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail and/or a 12 digit reference # that you print out, put with your product(s), and send into Castle.

Be sure to include the following:

  1. Castle Creations Order Confirmation with requested product failure details.
  2. If claiming warranty work, your receipt showing date of purchase.
  3. Your credit card information, which may expedite your repair if we deem the repair to be a non-warranty matter.
  4. A check or money order if you are requesting non-warranty work and you did not provide a credit card.

Castle Creations cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged shipments, or packages that do not arrive at Castle. Please be sure to properly package your item (putting your ESC in a white envelope and dropping it in the mailbox is not a good idea), and use adequate postage. Packages shipped with incorrect postage will be refused.

Note: Please use the online system to enter your billing and credit card information. This will eliminate the delays that may result from our having to reach you by phone to collect this information. All repair orders that are on hold pending customer information and/or payment will be held for a maximum of 60 days. After that the order will be removed from our system and the product(s) will be considered abandoned and discarded.

Credit Card Authorization
Providing Castle with your controller and credit card authorization shall serve as your authorization to bill you for the FLAT RATE REPAIR / REPLACEMENT cost of the controller that you send to Castle for repair or replacement. Unless you instruct us otherwise, we will first check to see if the repair/replacement is a warranty matter for which there is no charge. If warranty does not cover your controller, we will bill your credit card and send you a replacement/repaired controller as quickly as our stock will permit.

Nothing in this site or our warranty provides any guarantee of timeliness of our repair/replacement process. We deeply value your business and we look forward to serving you as efficiently as possible!

*Replacement controllers may be new stock or factory refurbished controllers.

**Repair stock is subject to availability. At times there may be a significant delay due to production schedules, parts shortages or other factors beyond our control. Seasonal fluctuations in our workload and parts availability affect our turn around time. We will do our very best to advise the current lead time.

Upgrades
Older products that have been discontinued may be upgraded to a similar product from our current line at a discounted price.
