PROBLEM:
Damaged CC BECs may NOT reduce voltage from input levels and radio equipment exposed to the higher voltage may be damaged.

RECOMMENDATION:
NEVER use a CC BEC that has experienced crash forces or that may have been in a system experiencing an electrical failure in another component in the system without first checking the output with a volt meter or returning it to Castle for evaluation.

EXPLANATION:
The CC BEC is designed to step voltage down from a high level to a lower level. If the CC BEC is damaged by crash or misuse it is possible that it will NOT step the voltage down. Always use a voltmeter to check the operation of the CC BEC after a crash or known electrical system failure.
