"I generally don’t take the time to write letters or return items, especially when I’m 100% responsible for their demise. However, I felt this particular instance was note worthy and hope you’ll agree. Enclosed, please find a Phoenix-45 Brushless Motor Control which has been in (what used to be) a Multiplex Micro-Jet.
Amazingly, its appears to still be working just fine (which is a testament to the quality and durability of your product), as I crashed my Micro-Jet REALLY HARD on our asphalt runway!!! That’s not the whole story... a few months prior to its ultimate sacrifice to the asphalt gods, the Microjet (along with this very same Phoenix-45) spent about six (6) hours floating inverted in a
lake adjacent to our flying field (it took that long before the wind blew it to the shore & I could recover it). I dried out all the electrical components and your ESC was the only survivor! I guess it’s reasonably obvious that my piloting skills need some work... But on the other hand, I’d say your motor controllers are, without a doubt, the best on the market! I have several other
Phoenix Controllers of varying sizes and have NEVER once experienced a problem... even this one still works!!!

| "I have to admit to a blunder last weekend but it shows just what kind of receiver the Bergs are. Justin of Soaring USA and I are both on ch44. I glanced at the board to see if my card was still up. There was a card under 44 but it was Justin's and I turned on thinking it was mine. I put the VTO in the air and we both flew for a bit but landed because we had noticed that the planes were just not quite "right". That's when I realized what I had done and apologized to Justin who merely stated the obvious, 'Good thing we're both using Bergs, huh Mark?'' - I'm sold."
